Which one to get: Black or Silver?
When I set out to buy the FX9 I first wanted black. The sales man assured me that it was the most popular model. I thought it looked cool and would go well with my black iPod video. However he also said that the black model tends to get greasy from fingers, just like the iPod Video as well. I asked to see the silver version and personally I knew it was the one for me. It looks much more elegant than the photos do and feels really sturdy in the hand.

I've had a black lumix fx9 for a little over three months now. i love it and have never once thought i'd want the silver one. As for smudges and fingerprints it's almost void of both and i haven't cleaned since i bought it. I've taken around 2000 pictures with it you can see the pics i've taken on flickr
I picked the black one over the white, silver and pink ones. The black surface has a non-slip feel between my fingers, whereas the other three seemed to feel more slippery. So it was a texture decision as well in addition to being a colour one.
